Trade promotion between Italy and Vietnam, since 2008.
Established in 2008, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam is a non-profit, trade-promoting organisation recognised by the Italian Government as a member organisation of Assocamerestero, the association of Italian chambers of commerce abroad.
What the chamber is for
Since its establishment, the chamber has set its mission to promote economic and cultural cooperation between Italy and Vietnam through visit trips, business delegations and trade exchanges between the two countries.
In particular, the chamber supports Italian and Vietnamese organisations and businesses in finding potential partners, through market research, B2B meetings, networking events, workshops and technical seminars focused on specific fields in Vietnam and Italy.
The chamber has built a business network of more than 100 members and continues to expand it.
The networkWho backs the chamber

ICHAM Corporate Sponsorship Program. Four packages: Diamond, Gold, Silver and Media, each with its own benefits. The programme also covers requesting ICHAM’s help organising a workshop or webinar, and support arranging B2B meetings. Contact Ms. Nhat Anh, info@icham.org. Sponsorship Package.
What it actually does
Four services, in the chamber’s headings.
Market research and business matching
Gathering and summarising information on the market, trade and economy; assessing the potential of a product or service in a given area; identifying where a company can expand and who it might partner with; and organising the B2B meetings and networking events that follow.
Trade missions
Run in close relations with the Embassy of Italy in Hanoi, the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Italian Trade Agency. Incoming visits to Vietnam by Italian business delegations, and visits by Vietnamese buyers to trade fairs in Italy.
Events management and communications
Co-organising and co-hosting workshops, seminars, press conferences and networking events: objectives, agenda, participants and logistics, sponsors and supporting organisations, and the communication around them.
Regulatory updates
Legal procedure, tax, Vietnamese customs, regulations and the labour code, from sources the chamber says it trusts.
Eight programmes, one country
The chamber runs named campaigns rather than a monthly social calendar, each with its own page. Wine, food, design and export support, which is a fair description of what Italy sells and what this chamber is for.
